Formation of CA.P^S Athletics Inc.

CA.P^S Athletics Inc. is founded by four current educators and athletic coaches. CA.P^S Athletics Inc. is a proud 501(c)(3) company. They recognize the need to better connect with the community’s youth and understand that athletics serve as an effective bridge to keep children engaged. They developed a program that not only support the youth, but also provides outreach to their families. The founding members of CA.P^S work together to establish the pillars that form the foundation of the athletic programs. As a result, CA.P^S is more than just athletics; it is athletics with a purpose.

The targeted age group for CA.P^S is 7-14, which encompasses elementary and middle school children. This is essential, as the initial directors all have teaching and coaching experience with these age groups, allowing them to provide valuable insight to the needs of these children. Therefore, more than just athletics, the life lessons that are taught to the children are age-appropriate and embody the four pillars CA.P^S is built upon: Courage, Ascension, Perseverance, and Strength.

Mission

CA.P^S Athletics Inc. is a community outreach program that focuses on engaging and improving the lives of youths and their families through our athletic program. Our organization is called CA.P^S, an acronym representing Courage, Ascension, Perseverance, and Strength. These four words are the foundational pillars of our program. The mission of CA.P^S is to use athletics to engage and develop the youth mindset so that they are filled with courage, ready to ascend to their fullest potential, develop perseverance in the face of obstacles, and exude the strength necessary to succeed in life. CA.P^S is located in the Sarasota/Manatee area of Florida and will serve the community youth between the ages of 7-14 years. CA.P^S is organized exclusively for public, charitable, and/or educational purposes.

This is a distinction that we take seriously, as we understand the faith and high expectations that these professional leagues have put in us, and we will exceed the expectations. We are always looking for great people who have our goal in common. If you are passionate about positively impacting kids and you have a sincere heart, then we can use you. We have opportunities such as coaching, mentoring, or even volunteering in the community with us. CA.P^S Athletics is completely against hate, unless it is cancer. Yes, we hate cancer! As we continue our commitment for the youth, we are driven to help find cures for childhood cancer. Perhaps nothing describes the fight of a child with cancer like the four pillars of CA.P^S. These amazing kids show courage in their fight, will ascend over cancer, persevere through tough times, and have unwavering strength.
